What Our Clients Think

Diagnostics

When you know there is something wrong with your pet, identifying the source of the problem is the first step. When you bring your pet in for a sick visit, we’ll combine the information you provide with a full examination of your pet supported by radiology and/or lab work when needed to identify what’s wrong and move toward an effective treatment plan.

  • Digital X-ray provides superior diagnostic images over traditional x-rays.

  • C-Arm Surgical X-ray provides a mobile, real-time view of an animal during surgery.

  • Ultrasound is used to determine pregnancy, detect tumors, and evaluate heart and other organs.

  • Onsite Laboratory provides insight to your pet's possible medical problem within minutes.

  • Video Endoscopy allows us to diagnose problems in the sinus cavity, trachea, esophagus, and stomach.

  • ECG enables us to evaluate electrical impulses and charges from the heart.

Surgery

Surgery is sometimes necessary to keep your pet healthy. Doctors perform routine surgeries such a spays and neuters, but surgical services at Hope go well beyond what is routine! Our skilled physicians perform advanced procedures for suffering pets who need surgical intervention. Read below to learn about the types of surgical services we provide for pets here at Hope Animal Clinic.

  • Soft Tissue – Abdominal & thoracic surgery, growth removals, spays, neuters, and laceration repairs

  • Orthopedics – Fracture repairs using bone plates, pins and wires; cruciate ligament repairs; patella, back, and hip surgeries

  • TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) – Advanced technique for cruciate ligament repair

  • Endoscopy – Medical equipment used to take biopsies and retrieve objects swallowed without risks of traditional surgery

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy uses low level red and infrared light which is effective with alleviating pain/inflammation, increasing circulation, helping to reduce scar tissue and swelling, and stimulating nerve and cell regeneration needed in tissue repair. Pets treated with laser therapy show a 33% reduction in healing time. Our trained staff uses laser therapy for post-surgical incision care, arthritis pain and much more. Celebrating 25 Year!!!

April 3rd marks 25 years since I first opened the doors of Hope Animal Clinic in a renovated house with 1 surgery table, 2 exam rooms, and a used x-ray machine given to me by a veterinary friend. The year was 2000. I had a confidence that I was where God wanted me to be; I had a young family and one technician who worked with me; and I had a solid commitment to provide excellent pet care at reasonable prices.   I had a hope for the future.

The future became more than my “hope” imagined. Through the years, God has brought exceptional veterinarians, managers, technicians, receptionists, kennel workers, and groomers. Today, we have a team of six incredible veterinarians and approximately 80 dedicated employees who make Hope Animal Clinic what it is all while working in a modern hospital with advanced technology.  I could not have imagined how Hope would grow.

I also could not have imagined the thousands of people that I and my staff would have the privilege of knowing and serving.  Some of you have become like family; many of you have become friends; all of you are appreciated. So let me say this—whether you’ve been with us since the “old house” or just joined our Hope family—thank you for trusting us with your pets. Your support has made this journey possible, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I am also grateful for our dedicated staff now and throughout the years.  Hope could not provide compassionate, excellent care without them.  Thank you, staff, for making Hope a trusted place for pet care through your skilled attention and dedication to every pet’s well being and every client’s needs.  You are the best!

Foremost, I thank God for His faithfulness and give Him glory. I am fully convinced that God has a plan for all of us—each person—and that my work through Hope Animal Clinic is God’s plan and calling for my life.  Preventing diseases through wellness programs, healing diseases through diagnosis and treatment, restoring function of essential organs and limbs through surgery, relieving suffering, and saving pets’ lives through medical treatment—vet medicine is a high calling.  But the greater calling is to share the gospel and to shine God’s light to those He brings through our doors.  I hope to practice many more years and to be faithful to my callings to the end.

I’d love to hear your favorite memories or see pictures of your pets who have been part of our journey, so please post these on our social media page.   Here’s to 25 years of care, compassion, and community—and many more years to come, Lord willing!
