Doggy Daycare Release

Doggy Daycare Release Form

Hope Animal Clinic offers doggy daycare as an opportunity to socialize your pet. We treat our daycare program much like a daycare program for children. We try to keep all of our daycare in groups, both inside and outside, but there are some pets that must be kept separate due to behavioral issues. Our goal with these pets is to introduce them gradually into a group atmosphere. While we strive to create a safe environment for your pet, there are times when they are not supervised. Please understand that injuries can occur whether or not your pet is being supervised. We do our best to keep these instances to a minimum, but accidents happen.

My pet will receive a minimum of two (2) hours per day of playtime. The last playtime will be at 2:00 p.m. due to the fact that we want your pet to be dry before pick-up if they choose to swim. If we are experiencing bad weather we will take your pet out if at all possible.

If my pet is in heat, please do not bring her for doggy daycare as we do not require the participants to be spayed/neutered. We will be happy to Day Board her if she is in heat.

Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our daycare is not open on weekends or holidays.

Fees: Regular Daycare $16.50 daily $74.25 weekly (consecutive days – due in advance) If boarding an additional $10.25 per day to participate in daycare If your pet is not picked up by 5:45 p.m. you will be charged 1 night boarding.

We would prefer that you not bring your pet’s toys. We will furnish toys.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 205-426-2828.

If my pet becomes injured during his/her visit, I hereby authorize any emergency treatment and/or administration of medication deemed necessary by the attending veterinarian. I understand this may include anesthesia. I agree to pay fees for all services rendered at the time my pet is discharged from the hospital. I understand the associated costs of daycare for my pet are a lawful debt. Therefore, I promise to pay the cost of collection, attorney fees, and court costs if such becomes necessary. I have read and understood the doggy daycare policies of Hope Animal Clinic.

Celebrating 25 Year!!!

April 3rd marks 25 years since I first opened the doors of Hope Animal Clinic in a renovated house with 1 surgery table, 2 exam rooms, and a used x-ray machine given to me by a veterinary friend. The year was 2000. I had a confidence that I was where God wanted me to be; I had a young family and one technician who worked with me; and I had a solid commitment to provide excellent pet care at reasonable prices.   I had a hope for the future.

The future became more than my “hope” imagined. Through the years, God has brought exceptional veterinarians, managers, technicians, receptionists, kennel workers, and groomers. Today, we have a team of six incredible veterinarians and approximately 80 dedicated employees who make Hope Animal Clinic what it is all while working in a modern hospital with advanced technology.  I could not have imagined how Hope would grow.

I also could not have imagined the thousands of people that I and my staff would have the privilege of knowing and serving.  Some of you have become like family; many of you have become friends; all of you are appreciated. So let me say this—whether you’ve been with us since the “old house” or just joined our Hope family—thank you for trusting us with your pets. Your support has made this journey possible, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I am also grateful for our dedicated staff now and throughout the years.  Hope could not provide compassionate, excellent care without them.  Thank you, staff, for making Hope a trusted place for pet care through your skilled attention and dedication to every pet’s well being and every client’s needs.  You are the best!

Foremost, I thank God for His faithfulness and give Him glory. I am fully convinced that God has a plan for all of us—each person—and that my work through Hope Animal Clinic is God’s plan and calling for my life.  Preventing diseases through wellness programs, healing diseases through diagnosis and treatment, restoring function of essential organs and limbs through surgery, relieving suffering, and saving pets’ lives through medical treatment—vet medicine is a high calling.  But the greater calling is to share the gospel and to shine God’s light to those He brings through our doors.  I hope to practice many more years and to be faithful to my callings to the end.

I’d love to hear your favorite memories or see pictures of your pets who have been part of our journey, so please post these on our social media page.   Here’s to 25 years of care, compassion, and community—and many more years to come, Lord willing!
